Positec USA partnered with Embark Media to develop launch content for two new HyperTough cordless nailers: a 16-gauge finish nailer designed for heavier-duty applications and an 18-gauge brad nailer built for detailed precision. As Walmart-exclusive products, the objective was to create feature-and-benefit videos and product page photography that clearly demonstrated performance, usability, and real-world applications for online shoppers to improve online conversions..
To maximize efficiency while maintaining strong visual differentiation between the two tools, we designed a single-day production that captured distinct video assets and cohesive photography simultaneously. The focus was on showcasing practical use cases while reinforcing the rugged, bold identity of the HyperTough brand — helping consumers quickly understand both the functionality and value of each product.
With a high volume of deliverables and multiple product scenarios to capture, the production strategy centered on smart scheduling, efficient set design, and intentional shot planning. Embark handled the full scope — concept development, location scouting, set construction and styling, production, photography, directing, and complete post-production including editing, color grading, motion graphics, and photo retouching.
Visually, we leaned into a dynamic handheld camera approach paired with strong, high-contrast lighting to create an energetic, rugged video that aligned with the brand’s identity while helping the content stand out on product pages. The result was a unified launch asset package that balanced efficiency with production quality — delivering compelling visuals that support both brand perception and e-commerce performance.
